Tutoring Policies

These policies apply to all 1:1 GRE tutoring sessions, packages, and course enrollments with OliviaGRE. By booking a session or purchasing a package, you agree to the terms below.

Cancellation & rescheduling

• At least 3 days' (72 hours') notice is required to cancel or reschedule any tutoring session without penalty.
• Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 72 hours' notice will forfeit the session. It will be counted as used and cannot be rebooked or credited.
• No-shows (missing a session without notice) are treated the same as a late cancellation and forfeit the session.
• Rescheduling requests should be sent by email to olivia@oliviagre.com or through the booking link you received.
• I will make every reasonable effort to accommodate rescheduling inside 72 hours in genuine emergencies (illness, family emergency), at my discretion.

Lateness

• Sessions start and end at their scheduled time. If you are late, we will use the remaining time and the session will end as originally scheduled.
• If I am unavoidably delayed, you will receive the full session time plus any missed minutes added to a future session, or I will reschedule at no cost.
• If you have not joined within 15 minutes of the scheduled start with no communication, the session is treated as a no-show.

Payment

• Payment is due in full before your first session. Sessions are not confirmed until payment is received.
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are listed in USD unless otherwise agreed.
• Packages must be paid up front. Installment plans are available for larger packages on request.

Refunds

• Individual sessions are non-refundable once booked and paid for.
• Tutoring packages carry a first-session satisfaction guarantee: if you are not satisfied after your first session, email within 48 hours of that session and you will receive a full refund of the remaining package balance (the first session itself is non-refundable as it has been delivered).
• After the first session, packages are non-refundable. Unused sessions remain available to you subject to the expiry terms below.
• Digital products, courses, and downloadable resources are non-refundable once accessed or downloaded.
• Chargebacks initiated without first attempting to resolve the issue by email will be disputed.

Session expiry

• Unused sessions in a package expire 6 months from the date of purchase.
• Extensions may be granted in writing for documented medical or personal emergencies.
• Expired sessions are not refundable and cannot be transferred.

Session format & materials

• Sessions are conducted 1:1 over Zoom unless otherwise agreed.
• You are responsible for a stable internet connection, a quiet environment, and access to the Zoom link sent before each session.
• Homework and practice materials shared with you are for your personal use only and may not be redistributed, resold, or shared.

Results & guarantees

I bring strategies, feedback, and accountability, but your GRE score depends on the work you put in between sessions. No specific score outcome is guaranteed. The first-session guarantee above is the only refund guarantee offered.

Conduct

I reserve the right to end a session or terminate a package without refund if a student is abusive, harassing, or otherwise behaves in a way that makes continued work impossible. This is extremely rare.

Transfers

Packages are non-transferable to other students without written agreement.

Changes to these policies

These policies may be updated from time to time. The version in effect when you booked or purchased is the version that applies to you. Updates apply to new bookings from the date shown at the top of this page.
